- In the next two months, I would like to propose a solution that is much broader than just this formula, one that will be very liberal, very economic, somewhat uncompromising, and at the same time very strong in its message, which will not only take voters away from Konfederacja [...] but may also mobilize those who today have no one to vote for - said Ryszard Petru in a conversation with Marcin Zaborski on the program "Gość Radia ZET", when asked if the creation of the Centre Union doesn't mean he is not forming a new party.

- In early autumn of this year, I will propose a solution that will be broader than the Centre Union, which will involve a very strong programmatic offensive, and I hope our paths will unite - he continued.

- It must be a political party [...] I am looking for a formula where one can run in elections independently, because there is a large portion of voters who do not want to vote for either Civic Coalition or The Left, and at the same time want to vote on this side of the political spectrum, meaning they don't want to vote for either PiS or Konfederacja - he continued, when asked if this solution would be a political party.

- 60% of Konfederacja voters perceive voting for Konfederacja as the lesser of two evils. They are there to be taken - he added.
