Let's Respect Our Right to Decide Where Involvement is Possible. Kosiniak-Kamysz on Poland's Participation in Military Missions

- We understand our allies' right to conduct their own policies, but let's also respect our right to decide where involvement is possible - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in an interview with Diana Rudnik on TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach" (Facts After Facts).

- We engage in peacekeeping missions, we engage in Lebanon [...] when our help was needed in Afghanistan, in Lebanon after September 11th [...] we were there, Article 5 was invoked and respected by us, and we engaged, and we are a loyal ally - he continued.

- But one cannot demand more either, if we have certain actions related to the defense of NATO's eastern flank, we have danger on the Polish-Belarusian border, acts of sabotage in Poland, we have a full-scale war right next to our border, we have violations of Polish airspace, we have GPS jamming, we have acts of sabotage and diversion in the Baltic Sea, Poland has its hands full - he went on to say.

- Poland is also present on the eastern flank, it is in Romania, in Latvia, we are protecting, we are present in Turkey, and here the support for Turkey, which we always offer as our ally, is what we can do, no more - he added.
