- I am not ruling out this idea. I was very reserved, but we will return to this topic [referendum on EU membership] and consider what kind of safeguard, if not a guarantee, that we will not remain in the EU against the will of the people. I would like us all to understand that in Great Britain, at some point, a majority of people decided they wanted to leave. So first and foremost, it seems to me that those of us who want to be in the EU should do everything we can to ensure this sentiment in Poland doesn't change. That is crucial - stated Donald Tusk on TVN24.
