"Our soldiers were fully evacuated from Iraq," wrote Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on social media.

"In connection with the deteriorating security situation in the Middle East region, after analyzing the operational conditions and potential threats, a decision was made to relocate the Polish Military Contingent from Iraq. The entire process was carried out in consultation with our NATO allies," emphasized the Minister of National Defence.

"The majority of the personnel are already in Poland or on their way to the country, while some are staying in Jordan. This allows for maintaining the continuity of the PMC's operations in the region," added the Deputy Prime Minister.
