- I will lift the veil of secrecy. Tomorrow, in accordance with the act on cooperation between the President and the Council of Ministers, as well as the Sejm and the Senate, the President's position will be conveyed to Prime Minister Donald Tusk, specifically before the upcoming European Council. This position will include concrete proposals for solutions and modifications, not superficial or cosmetic ones, because we have already seen very, very many superficial and cosmetic changes. What is needed here are truly decisive, decisive changes if we do not want to end up as the poorest in the year 2050 - said Wanda Buk in an interview with Marek Tejchman on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events).

When pressed for details, she stated that she did not want to spoil them today.

Asked whether these proposals would entail withdrawing from the ETS system, she replied: - The first demand, not for Poland, but for the entire European Union, is the liquidation of this system today. A system that is fundamentally flawed on many levels. [...] It can be corrected. That's better than nothing.

- It seems to me that the President's proposals, which will be presented tomorrow, are very rational and will be effective. A group of experts has consulted on them - she indicated.
