First Day of the Sejm Session
At 9:30 AM, a press conference will be held by the Marshal of the Sejm, Włodzimierz Czarzasty. The 51st session of the Sejm will commence at 11:00 AM with the second reading of the government's bill amending the act on cash benefits from social insurance in case of illness and maternity – this is one of the proposals from the so-called deregulation package.
Tusk and Domański on the Future Council
Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the Minister of Finance and Economy, Andrzej Domański, will participate in the establishment of the Future Council. At 9:30 AM, a meeting with the members of the Future Council will take place, and at 10:15 AM, speeches are scheduled.
Subsequently, Prime Minister Donald Tusk will visit the PGZ Naval Shipyard area in Gdynia. The Prime Minister's address is anticipated around 1:00 PM.
Nawrocki in Pomerania
President Karol Nawrocki will be on a visit to Puck and Gdynia. At 11:25 AM, he will participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at the monument of General Józef Haller on the occasion of the 106th anniversary of Poland's Marriage to the Sea, and at 3:00 PM – in a ceremonial session of the Gdynia City Council on the occasion of the city's 100th birthday.
Sejm Committees on Ziobro, Romanowski, and the National Council of the Judiciary
At 12:00 PM, the Sejm Committee on Rules of Procedure, MP's Conduct, and Immunities will consider a letter from the Marshal of the Sejm regarding the adoption of a resolution by the committee, as referred to in Article 22, Paragraph 1 of the Sejm's Rules of Procedure, concerning MP Zbigniew Ziobro – the aforementioned article states that for failing to perform parliamentary duties, the committee may, by way of a resolution, draw the MP's attention, issue a reprimand, or a censure. At 1:00 PM, an analogous session will be held concerning Marcin Romanowski.
At 12:30 PM, during a meeting of the Sejm Committee on Justice and Human Rights, a public hearing will be held concerning the government's bill to restore the right to an independent and impartial court established by law by regulating the effects of resolutions adopted by the National Council of the Judiciary in the years 2018-2025.
At 2:00 PM, the Pegasus inquiry committee will, in a closed session, address current matters and consider evidentiary motions.
