"A few days ago, at the request of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, a meeting took place between President Karol Nawrocki and Minister Marcin Kierwiński, concerning the situation in the State Protection Service. A change in the position of Commander in this formation requires the president's consent" - Paweł Szefernaker wrote on X.

"President Nawrocki did not agree to the dismissal of Gen. Radosław Jaworski from his post. The suspension of the Head of SOP is a decision of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, which does not require the President's consent" - he continued in his post.

"In this situation, Minister M. Kierwiński takes full responsibility for the functioning of the formation and the security of the most important people in the state" - he noted.

Kilka dni temu, na prośbę MSWiA, odbyło się spotkanie Prezydenta Karola Nawrockiego z ministrem Marcinem Kierwińskim, ws. sytuacji w Służbie Ochrony Państwa. W tej formacji do zmiany na stanowisku Komendanta wymagana jest zgoda prezydenta.
