- If we look at it, in recent years, we have subsidized mining with over 20 billion zloty from the state budget. Over a longer time horizon, as the demand for coal decreases, and I'm speaking generally, not just about coking coal, as the demand from the energy sector decreases, we must look for solutions that will rationalize the cost side of these companies' operations if they are to survive, and that is what is happening right now. So, no one will absolve us of the responsibility to manage state assets economically - said Wojciech Balczun in "Bez Retuszu" on TVP INFO.
