The Matter Isn't Closed.

"Regarding the EU-Mercosur matter, as we announced, we voted against it. In the specific provisions, the Polish People's Party (PSL) secured concrete safeguards: protective clauses that give states tools to react when imports begin to impact production profitability and destabilize the market," wrote Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on the X platform.

"This is the result of hard work in Brussels and discussions with partners – without it, these provisions wouldn't exist. The matter isn't closed: we will prepare a challenge to the agreement at the ECJ and will continue to fight for equal standards for European farmers," announced the Deputy Prime Minister and leader of the agrarian party.
