Presidential Minister Announces Another Legislative Initiative on 'Protecting the Polish Countryside'
- President Karol Nawrocki, during a meeting with representatives of the protestors, reiterated his stance of full support for Polish farmers and the Polish countryside. He recalled that an initiative to protect the Polish countryside has been waiting in the Polish parliament for 150 days - said Mateusz Kotecki at a press conference.
- The new initiative, which we are currently negotiating during our discussions, is a bill to sustain the productive function of the Polish countryside. So, this will be the second legislative initiative aimed at protecting the Polish countryside and the Polish farmer from the detrimental effects of the association agreement with Mercosur - he announced.
