Bosak Questions if Poland is Ready to Defend State Leadership Against Actions Like Maduro's Kidnapping

Tomasz Synowiec

- Are we prepared to defend our own state leadership against these kinds of special operations. Regardless of who it is, because someone will immediately ask me if I would be willing to defend Prime Minister Tusk if they wanted to take him out of Poland. That is a completely unserious question, because I am in opposition. I believe that he is not performing well as prime minister and should resign as soon as possible. However, my question is universal, meaning that regardless of who the Polish prime minister is, the Polish state, not I personally, but the Polish state should be capable, with the help of its security institutions, to protect them. We already have one case of our head of state and part of our political elite whom we, as a society, as a state, failed to defend. I am, of course, referring to the Smolensk catastrophe - said Krzysztof Bosak on the "Rymanowski Live" channel.
