“I had a tough, honest, and partnership-based conversation with President Volodymyr Zelensky about matters crucial for Poland and Ukraine,” President Karol Nawrocki wrote on X.

“Poland has supported Ukraine since the beginning of Russian aggression, and this remains unchanged. Today’s meeting marks a new opening in our mutual relations and an opportunity to commence partnership cooperation for the benefit of both countries,” reads the president’s post.

“This is bad news for Putin,” the President of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) concluded.
