Says Bosak on Aid to Ukraine:

Poland Must Stop Practicing Politics on Its Knees,

Mateusz Nowak

"Last night, the European Council, in the presence of Prime Minister Donald Tusk, decided to incur a record debt of 90 billion euros for loans to be transferred to Ukraine. Only three countries secured their exclusion from responsibility for these loans, which, as we expect, may never be repaid. These are the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. Unfortunately, Poland is not among them." - stated Krzysztof Bosak in a recording published on X.

"At the same time, based on the decision of the previous government, Poland is currently paying and will continue to pay interest for the next few years on loans that the European Union has granted to Ukraine. Meanwhile, Poland has a budget deficit twice as large as Ukraine's. Polish institutions are unable to carry out transfers to entities such as hospitals or other organizations that should normally pay salaries and implement investments." - he continued.

"What does Poland receive in return for all this aid? Firstly, there is no general agreement to conduct searches and exhumations of Polish victims on Ukrainian territory. Secondly, there is no cooperation regarding the two victims of what happened in Przewodów," - he further elaborated.

"Thirdly, data about convicted Russian saboteurs in Ukraine is not being provided to the Polish side. Fourthly, at the UN, despite all this record aid, Poland has been accused of supporting Russia. And finally, fifthly, Poland is excluded from key peace talks taking place on the international stage." - he added.

"This cannot continue. Poland must stop practicing politics on its knees. Poland deserves a government that will firmly represent exclusively Poland's national interest." - he emphasized.
