- This is a good day for Polish-Ukrainian friendship. Today's meeting with President Zelensky can be described in three words - kindness, cooperation, and openness. I was deeply moved by the President's expressions of gratitude, as he thanked Poland for the assistance provided to Ukraine since the first days of the war. I responded - it was and is our duty to support Ukraine. This is in Poland's national interest - stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty in a recording published on social media.

- I also expressed my admiration for the courage and determination of Ukrainians in their fight for freedom, ours and that of all of Europe. Parliament is a space for dialogue and democracy. Therefore, I invited President Volodymyr Zelensky to address the Sejm. At the President's invitation, I will also travel to the Ukrainian parliament. On the occasion of the anniversary of the outbreak of the full-scale war in Ukraine, I will be there as Marshal, representing the entire Polish parliament, along with Deputy Marshal Wielichowska - the Marshal of the Sejm emphasized.

- We also declared our readiness to support Ukraine. If a decision is made to organize presidential elections, it concerns organizational, resource, and legal assistance. This meeting is proof that true solidarity is shown not in words, but in deeds. Together, we are stronger - he said.
