Pełczyńska-Nałęcz Critically on Czarzasty:

It Looks Like the Freezer is Entering the Sejm.

- I really don't like the fact that it looks like the freezer is entering the Sejm again - Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz stated on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events).

As she recalled: - We, as current co-coalition partners, while in opposition, all very firmly said that the freezer is a very bad PiS practice, because it truly was a very bad PiS practice. Marshal Hołownia, in accordance with our joint commitments, removed the freezer. All bills were procedurally processed.

- It is up to the MPs to vote whether a bill is bad or good. If the President's bill is bad, it can simply not be voted on. Of course, we will not vote for it - she pointed out.

- However, there is no such thing as a Marshal's veto in the Polish constitution. There is no such thing as a unilateral decision on whether a bill is suitable or unsuitable for voting. That is what the coalition majority is for, that is what the female and male MPs are for, to decide: good, not good, to amend it in committees - she continued.
