We Won't Build Healthcare Solely on Contributions.

"The Prime Minister stated from the outset that there would be no increase in the health contribution," said Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda on PR1, when asked if she wasn't concerned by Prime Minister Tusk's declaration that there would be no health contribution hike.

"We know that even today, we cannot build a healthcare system solely on a contribution-based system; budget subsidies and other revenues for the National Health Fund are also needed," she continued.

"I am pleased that after recent events [...] proposals are emerging from various political groups on how to potentially solve the financing issue. We are certainly in the process of listening to these solutions," she added.
