- The Marshal [of the Sejm] has no veto power. I remind you that Marshal Czarzasty received 20,000 votes, losing as the number 1 candidate from his list to the last candidate on his own list, so this is essentially Marshal Czarzasty's social mandate. The President of Poland is a person outside of any political party, unburdened by any political obligations, and now is the time when I want my vetoes to also encourage the parliamentary majority to listen to the voices of Polish citizens - stated President Karol Nawrocki on Kanał Zero.
