At 9:00 AM, a press briefing by Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty will take place in the Sejm.
Also at 9:00 AM, the Constitutional Tribunal will consider combined motions from the Prosecutor General and the President regarding the goals and activities of the Communist Party of Poland.
At 12:00 PM, in Bronisze, a conference will begin with the participation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Stefan Krajewski, on the occasion of laying the cornerstone for the construction of a new commercial facility "EkoHala".
A press conference with the Minister of the Interior and Administration, Marcin Kierwiński, is scheduled for 12:15 PM in Radom. The topic will be investments within the framework of the Population Protection and Civil Defense Program.
At 12:45 PM, at the headquarters of Polish Power System Grid (PSE) in Konstancin-Jeziorna, a ceremony will be held for the signing of an agreement between the General Staff of the Polish Army, represented by Gen. Wiesław Kukuła, and PSE. The event will be attended by, among others, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, and Minister of Energy Miłosz Motyka.
Wednesday also marks the second day of the Monetary Policy Council meeting.
Sejm on the Budget
Wednesday is the first day of the Sejm session. The proceedings will begin at 10:00 AM with procedural votes.
At 10:15 AM, the second reading of the draft budget law for 2026 is scheduled.
At 5:00 PM, the second reading of the government's draft concerning amendments to certain laws related to the functioning of government administration is planned.
At 6:15 PM, the second reading of the government's draft amendment to the laws on public documents and excise tax will commence.
From 7:00 PM, the Sejm will consider deregulation projects, and at 10:00 PM, MPs will proceed to the second reading of the government's draft on special rules for carrying out tasks related to security and defense investments implemented within the framework of the National Reconstruction and Resilience Plan.
Nawrocki in Hungary
On Wednesday, President Karol Nawrocki will pay a visit to Hungary, where he will participate in a meeting of the Presidents of the Visegrád Group countries.
At 11:00 AM, in the town of Esztergom, the Polish President's welcome by the President of Hungary, Tamás Sulyok, is scheduled.
At 11:45 AM, a plenary session with the participation of the Presidents of the Visegrád Group countries will begin, and at 1:15 PM, statements for the media are expected to be made.
A working breakfast hosted by the President of Hungary on the occasion of the Visegrád Group Presidents' meeting is planned for 1:40 PM.
Around 4:35 PM, the farewell of the Visegrád Group Presidents by the Hungarian President is expected to take place.
