- The ECJ ruling deeply interferes with the affairs of member states. [...] It orders member states to recognize homosexual marriages concluded in another member state. It's a bit like if drugs were legalized, and there are such countries in the European Union, Poland would also have to respect the import of drugs into our country because in another country, e.g., in the Netherlands, such a law has been guaranteed - said Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference.

- We cannot agree to this. Sovereignty is an absolutely fundamental condition for the functioning of member states. [...] We are dealing with shameless, brazen interference in the legal order, the order of family law. I would describe it as the slow realization of the Rabiej and Tusk plan - he stated.

- Minister Żurek recently said that all ECJ rulings must be implemented into the domestic legal order. What are we dealing with? Let's look, not only a violation of sovereignty, but a deep interference in the Polish family order, Polish family law. Hands off our children. Hands off Polish children - he emphasized.

In his opinion: - If we have to respect this ECJ ruling, it will simultaneously mean that a homosexual couple from another country will be able to enjoy all rights as if they were married in Poland. This is what the ruling leads to. We absolutely cannot agree to this.
