- The government wants to take over the loss-making and failing Carrefour. Officially, it hopes that civil servants will manage the stores better, resulting in farmers receiving more and customers paying less - Sławomir Mentzen wrote on social media.
- This is obvious nonsense. It's about more seats to be filled by politicians' cronies - he stated.
- The state is not in the business of selling carrots. Politicians are failing to fulfill their basic duties. Defense, healthcare, and the judiciary are not working, and instead of addressing these issues, they've now decided to get involved in selling parsley - emphasized the leader of Konfederacja.
Mentzen concluded his post by adding: - Politicians were once responsible for trade – in the Polish People's Republic. The result was that only vinegar was on the shelves. Let's not go back to that!.
Rząd chce przejąć przynoszącego straty i upadającego Carrefoura. Oficjalnie liczy na to, że urzędnicy będą lepiej zarządzać sklepami, dzięki czemu rolnicy będą dostawać więcej, a klienci płacić mniej.
