Council of Seniors without Parliamentary Groups? Czarzasty Comments

Michał Lubowicki

- There are parliamentary groups present in the Council of Seniors at the moment. The Sejm's regulations state: the Council of Seniors consists of parliamentary groups and clubs that were elected as a result of citizens' votes in an electoral act, i.e. elections. However, for groups that are formed during the term of the Sejm, for example, by members leaving other clubs, the Marshal of the Sejm may invite them to a meeting of the Council of Seniors, or may not invite them – stated Włodzimierz Czarzasty in TVN24's "Fakty po Faktach" (Facts after Facts).

Asked about the continued invitation of the Razem, Konfederacja Korony Polskiej, and Republican groups, he replied: - These three groups are invited by the Marshal of the Sejm. I will make such a decision at the next Sejm session, which means in 2 weeks.
