It is very sad that the Minister of Justice does not know the Constitution.

- It is very sad that the Minister of Justice, Waldemar Żurek, does not know the Constitution, which clearly defines the competencies of the President of the Republic of Poland regarding judicial appointments. It is doubly sad that the Minister of Justice does not know the Constitutional Tribunal's ruling from 2012. I understand that in this legal acrobatics of his, Minister Żurek is trying to draw attention to the lack of justification - stated President Karol Nawrocki at a press conference with the President of Switzerland.

- Such justification is not necessary. The justification is formal; the justification is that all judges nominated by the President of the Republic of Poland are judges of the Republic of Poland and should be concerned with issuing rulings and verdicts, not turning courtrooms into parliamentary chambers - the President of the Republic of Poland continued.
