Jaki:

Either we accept being a small state, or we must adopt a new migration policy

- If we want to defend ourselves against Russia in the future, and perhaps against other problems, we must have a strong state. Ideally, it would be a strong and large state [...] so that it is a synthesis of two things, i.e., on the one hand, to raise the demographic factor [...] and the second, repatriation. [...] This should be the shape of the future political strategy for development, for building the strength of our state - said Patryk Jaki during a debate on migrants at the "Krynica Forum 2025".

- We have about 25 million Poles living outside the country. Another similar number are people of Polish origin. I believe that future policy should be focused on them [...] if we want to build any migration policy - he continued.

- Either we accept that we will be a small state and, consequently, we will be an easier state to attack in the future, or we must actually adopt some policy, a new migration policy - he went on to say.
