Tusk on the inability to finance the promised tax-free amount:
I didn't know we'd have to spend 200 billion on armaments.
- I want you to believe again, if you have doubted, that we have this strategic plan and it has not changed. If there are adjustments, if we are not doing something, there are serious reasons. I don't want to, I won't look for easy explanations in your eyes - said Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Piotrków Trybunalski.
- If I cannot finance everything at the moment, like the tax-free amount, then I'll tell you directly: I didn't know we would have to spend 200 billion on armaments. I didn't know that 100 billion of that was for things signed by our predecessor, not always wisely. But I cannot break contracts with close allies [...] because it is directly linked to security strategy. You know what I'm talking about - indicated the head of government.
