- I don't think anything will change regarding Donald Tusk's decision, meaning I don't believe he will agree to appoint Ms. Pełczyńska-Nałęcz as Deputy Prime Minister before... - Sławomir Mentzen said in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News, when asked if the Sejm Marshal will continue to be him, or if something will change in Szymon Hołownia's decision.

- It would be a sign of weakness, I would be surprised if Tusk agreed to let Pełczyńska, along with the already departing from politics Hołownia, blackmail him like this on their way out - he continued, when asked why.

- Besides, if he doesn't agree to it, he will break up the Poland 2050 club, which is divided roughly in half; half want to be a loyal part of the coalition, half do not. So, knowing Donald Tusk's politics, I bet he won't agree to it - he went on to say.

- He [Szymon Hołownia] announced that he will resign if Pełczyńska-Nałęcz becomes Deputy Prime Minister by then, which I don't expect. However, Czarzasty's vote is possible regardless of whether Hołownia resigns or not. And here I bet that the Poland 2050 club will split in some proportions; if Czarzasty passes, it will be by a very small majority of votes - he added.
