- This law [abolishing term limits in local government] has a chance of being passed, but let's remember that the legislative process consists of, as it were, three entities: the Sejm, the Senate, and finally, there's the president's famous pen, which is not very benevolent, I wouldn't even say merciful, towards our coalition's projects - said Piotr Zgorzelski on Polsat News.

- But we know that the president was a local government official, so he probably knows more about this subject than the average citizen, and we don't rule out a meeting with the president - he continued.

- We will show the president the outcome that will be the result of public consultations, where I know many non-governmental organizations are already signing up, because I think they feel that limiting the choice for mayors, town mayors, city presidents [...] in fact restricts the freedom of citizens - he went on to say.
