Tuesday's Political Agenda: Sejm Session Begins, Tusk Meets Lithuanian PM, PiS Press Conference

The 42nd Sejm session will commence at 10:00 AM with procedural votes. The MPs will address, among other matters, the draft amendments to the Law on the System of Common Courts, as well as a draft amendment to certain laws aimed at improving the conditions for conducting business activities.

At 1:00 PM, a press conference will be held in Warsaw by the head of the PiS parliamentary club, Mariusz Błaszczak, and PiS MPs Jacek Sasin and Janusz Kowalski.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk will meet with the Prime Minister of Lithuania, Inga Ruginiene. A welcome is scheduled for 2:30 PM, followed by a meeting at 2:35 PM, a delegation meeting at 3:00 PM, and statements by the prime ministers to the media at 3:30 PM.

At 5:00 PM, the Sejm will hear a report on the activities of the Ombudsman and the state of compliance with freedoms and human and civil rights in 2024.

Tuesday also marks the first day of a two-day session of the Monetary Policy Council.
