Tusk's Government Has Stopped Funding the UMK Astronomical Observatory's Radio Telescope Near Toruń; It's Diversion

- Starting next year, the largest radio telescope in Central Europe, with a diameter of 32 meters, located at the UMK Astronomical Observatory in Piwnice near Toruń, is set to cease operations - wrote Sławomir Mentzen.

- And I've just read that Tusk's government has halted its funding. There's no 600,000 PLN for the radio telescope's continued functioning! They have money for yachts, for swingers' clubs, for the most absurd things imaginable. They even found 60,000 PLN for Jaś Kapela to write poems about abortion, but there's no 600k for a radio telescope?! - Mentzen continued.

Teraz to się zdenerwowałem. Od przyszłego roku ma przestać działać największy radioteleskop w Europie Środkowej, mający 32 metry średnicy, znajdujący się w Obserwatorium Astronomicznym UMK w Piwnicach pod Toruniem.
