Pełczyńska-Nałęcz Wants to Meet with Tusk:
We Expect Partnership Without Forceful Marginalization.
- We are coalition partners, we play honestly with each other, in order to govern together and well. If, all of a sudden, the principle began to prevail in the coalition, and I don’t suspect anyone would want that, that we don’t keep our promises, that we push one coalition partner or another into a corner. We start acting forcefully, dishonestly, and unfairly towards each other, then instead of moving forward as a whole government, we will focus on ourselves, and that is very bad – said Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz on “Gość Radia Zet”.
When asked if she had asked the Prime Minister for a conversation about her role, she continued:
- I will definitely ask for such a substantive conversation about how the Prime Minister sees this role. However, nominations are always on the side of coalition partners and parties. The agreements are joint, that each party will now have a Deputy Prime Minister.
- We, for example, in the spirit of absolute coalition agreement and partnership, with complete understanding, reacted to the nomination of Deputy Prime Minister Sikorski, from the Civic Coalition. So now each party has its Deputy Prime Minister, and there were agreements that it would be like this. We behave honestly, as partners, stably; we expect the same from others without any forceful marginalization, because as I said, the effect will be that everything will go inwards instead of outwards – she further stated.
