"The President's Veto Forced the Government to Implement Safeguards and Solutions They Didn't Want to Implement 1.5 Years Ago"
- The President's veto on the Ukrainian bill forced the government to implement these safeguards and solutions that they did not want to implement 1.5 years ago, even though they had announced a reduction in the 800 plus benefit since February during the election campaign, and a month ago this government and the parliamentary majority presented a bill to the President of the Republic of Poland that did not contain these solutions at all - he pointed out.
"A Clear Message from the President - This is the Last Such Law He Will Sign"
As stated by the Head of the Presidential Chancellery: - This is the last law that President Nawrocki is signing concerning this form of assistance for Ukrainian citizens. President Nawrocki will not sign any other such law. We must move to normal conditions, meaning treating Ukrainian citizens residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland in the same way as all other foreigners.
- This is a very clear message from the president - the last law that was signed by the president in this assistance formula, special assistance, exceptional assistance. Because today there are no grounds or reasons to continue such actions - he emphasized.
