- Yesterday, at a meeting with councillors and colleagues from the Civic Coalition, we agreed that an extraordinary session of the Council will be held next week, during which a resolution will be adopted to introduce limitations on alcohol sales in the first two districts - Praga Północ and Śródmieście - starting from the beginning of November. I will submit the motion to convene the extraordinary session this week - wrote Rafał Trzaskowski on social media.

- Most importantly, we also agreed that from June 1, 2026, the limitation on nighttime alcohol sales will be in effect throughout Warsaw. I will present the resolution on this matter to the Council in the spring of next year - emphasized the Mayor of Warsaw.

- Did the discussion surrounding the issue of limiting alcohol sales in the capital proceed in an exemplary manner? Definitely not. Can we draw the right conclusions from this? That is precisely what we are doing - he argued.

As Trzaskowski noted: - The vast majority of Warsaw residents want to limit nighttime alcohol sales across the entire city - and that is what will happen. Step by step. Moving forward. In the right direction.
