Thursday's Political Agenda: Sejm to Debate Presidential CPK Bill, Kosiniak-Kamysz on 1200 All-Terrain Vehicles Contract

Sejm to Discuss President Nawrocki's CPK Bill, Deregulation Projects, and Establishment of the Lower Oder Valley National Park

The Sejm will resume its proceedings at 9:00 AM with a series of current affairs questions. At 11:15 AM, following a request from the Polski 2050 parliamentary club, it will hear a current information report on the preparations for the implementation of a deposit system in Poland.

The main part of the second day of the session, from 12:45 PM to 6:00 PM, will be dedicated to the second readings of government deregulation bills. These include, among others, a bill to facilitate online access to the National Court Register (2:15 PM); enabling electronic submission of vehicle registration applications and the abolition of mandatory legalization of license plates upon vehicle registration if the owner wishes to retain the current registration number (4:30 PM); and introducing facilitations for testing automated and autonomous vehicles (5:15 PM).

From 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM, second readings are scheduled for two bills amending the Sejm's Rules of Procedure. These concern changes to the rules for MPs' participation in the Ethics Committee meetings and adapting the content of the rules to current legislation.

At 6:45 PM, the first reading of the bill submitted by President Karol Nawrocki, aimed at ensuring the implementation of the Central Communication Port (CPK) investment, will commence.

At 8:15 PM, the second reading will take place of the government bill ratifying the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia, signed in Denpasar on February 24, 1976, along with its amending Protocols. At 8:45 PM, the second reading is scheduled for the government bill concerning the establishment of the Lower Oder Valley National Park in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, effective November 1, 2025.

From 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM, the Sejm will address resolutions on topical issues. Subsequently, at 10:45 PM, it will consider the report from the Committee on Rules of Procedure, MP Affairs, and Immunities regarding the private prosecutor Małgorzata Zych's request to lift the immunity of Grzegorz Płaczek, the leader of the Confederation parliamentary club.

Kosiniak-Kamysz at Contract Signing Ceremony

At 12:20 PM, at Rosomak S.A. facilities in Siemianowice Śląskie, the Minister of National Defence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, will attend the signing of a framework agreement for the delivery of over 1200 all-terrain vehicles for the Polish Army. An address by the head of the Ministry of National Defence is planned.
