Szynkowski vel Sęk: Nawrocki's Visit to Washington Was a Key Element in Trump's Evolving View on Russia

- President Donald Trump's perspective on the actions of the Russian Federation, on the situation in Ukraine, is becoming increasingly realistic, pragmatic, and increasingly takes into account the reality in which the Russian Federation does not respect any principles of international law – said Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk in an interview with Grzegorz Osiecki on "Sygnały dnia" PR1.

- I think that a significant element of this evolution in the American president's outlook was the visit of President Karol Nawrocki to Washington on September 3rd. Because shortly after that meeting, I received a report from Minister Marcin Przydacz, with whom I spoke, who indicated that during that meeting, President Nawrocki presented a number of arguments that were accepted by President Trump – he continued.

- The reflection after this meeting was that President Trump's perspective appears to be a bit different from what we were dealing with in the preceding weeks. So, this is good news, because from Poland's point of view, it is of course a positive change – he stated.
