- On behalf of the Union of Poles in Belarus and in my own name, I have written a plea to the President of Belarus for the release of our colleague Andrzej Poczobut. I also wrote a request for the opportunity to meet with Andrzej in the penal colony, as we are all very worried about his health. I received permission for a visit and today I met with Andrzej in the penal colony in Novopolotsk - Andżelika Borys wrote on Facebook.

- Andrzej sends his warmest regards to all, both friends and strangers. He feels mentally well, he is receiving medication. Thank you all for remembering him. He said that God will guide each person's path. I sincerely thank you for your remembrance. He also conveyed that the Union of Poles in Belarus is not for confrontation, but for preserving and caring for Polishness. I told Andrzej that there hasn't been a day when we in the Union of Poles, and not only, haven't prayed for him!!! I am currently on my way from Novopolotsk to Grodno - emphasized the chairperson of the Union of Poles in Belarus.
