- There are circles that are very keen on children not receiving safe knowledge in school and want to make politics out of this subject. I simply oppose this - Barbara Nowacka said on TVN24.

- I am obligated to meet with the Episcopate, please remember that we simultaneously introduced another change, which is one religion class per week, not two, and at the first, at the last lesson. And this change obliged me to strive for an agreement with the Episcopate. The Episcopate was not interested in an agreement, but was interested in interfering with a subject that does not concern them at all, namely health education - she continued.

- This is exactly how it looked: when they heard about health education, the Episcopate suddenly got activated, with its actions, a letter, I sent [...] the core curriculum to the bishops so they could familiarize themselves with it [...] they didn't want to read it - she further stated, when asked if "it's 1:1, you give us religion, we give you health education?".

- It is sad that the Church lies on this topic. They simply speak untruths regarding the program. And if they approach children's health and safety in this way, to be honest, one can only shrug and wonder who they serve, because they certainly do not serve Poland and do not serve children - she added.
