- A Border Guard officer, a soldier, a police officer, when someone attacks our border, when someone violates our borders, when someone attacks our territory, when someone, weapon in hand or in an aircraft, threatens the lives or property of our citizens, that person must be aware that the Polish Army will open fire. And a Polish soldier in such a situation knows, also thanks to these new regulations, that they truly have the full backing of the state here - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Wytyczno, on the anniversary of the USSR's aggression against Poland.

- A Polish soldier, when they have to shoot down a drone or take action on the Polish border — we are, after all, close to a border that is under pressure, similarly to Podlachia, also from illegal migration — or a Border Guard officer, must not hesitate for a second whether they will face consequences if they open fire on an aggressor - he continued.
