'If we damage our home defending it, the entire responsibility still lies with the aggressor'

"It must also be clear to every state institution and every politician that situations may arise where some losses occur. And this in no way alters the responsibility of the aggressor and attacker," said Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a government meeting.

"If someone attacks our home, and we, defending it, cause some damage within that home, that doesn't change the fact that we will continue to defend it, and the entire responsibility falls on the assailant, the aggressor," he indicated.
