Sasin:

I Would Greatly Wish for a Single Polish Voice on Reparations, Unfortunately, I am a Pessimist

Mateusz Nowak

- For now [Germany on reparations] is saying "nein", and perhaps soon it will be a less harsh "nein". You know, no one readily and voluntarily agrees to such a matter, that's obvious. We didn't anticipate it would be an easy process, and from the outset, we didn't say we were demanding a one-time payment of this money - Jacek Sasin said on RMF FM.

- We are talking about a certain process, about initiating a certain process, in which, depending on how the parties agree, i.e., Poland and Germany, various forms of compensation for this money may occur - he continued.

- I would greatly wish for that, unfortunately, I am a pessimist here, because I believe that the current rulers, in their servility, meaning Tusk and Sikorski on this matter, have no inhibitions whatsoever in their servility towards Germany and will not stand by the Polish President on this issue, they will not speak with one voice - he continued, when asked if there was a chance for a single Polish voice on reparations.

- I am convinced that if we were united, spoke with one voice, and if Germany were aware that there is political agreement in Poland regarding our demand for reparations, the conversation would look completely different - he added.
