"Today, there's an additional Senate session. We have 4 important bills on its agenda. If it weren't for the President's veto, we wouldn't have to play catch-up and prepare solutions that could take effect from next month," said Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska at a press briefing.

"Naturally, there's the very important bill on aid for Ukrainian citizens. It must be adopted by the end of the month to avoid causing chaos in our country. The heating voucher bill, which protects our citizens' pockets, so they can afford basic services and heating," she listed.

"The bill on oil and gas reserves, also very important in current times. And the bill [...] on housing benefits for uniformed services," she continued.

"These are important bills, already processed in committees. The committees recommended their adoption without amendments, but I understand that during the session, senators might still propose some amendments," she added.
