Nawrocki on Reparations: 'After Meetings in Berlin, I Consider This Discussion Open'

"I am convinced that this discussion and the re-opening of the topic of reparations for Poland will not negatively affect good relations with Germany; after these talks, I am confident it will not impact our trade relations, economic relations, or our relations in international forums," said President Karol Nawrocki at a press briefing in Paris.

"However, this is an issue that is important to me as the Polish president, and it is important to Poles. We should open this discussion, and I consider it open after these two meetings in Berlin," he stated.
