- The Minister of Justice, while himself admitting to openly breaking existing law, a statute, or even multiple statutes, has dismissed court presidents and vice-presidents despite the opposition of numerous court collegia. These collegia are, by law, authorized to express opinions binding on the minister regarding whether a given president or vice-president can be dismissed or not, - stated Zbigniew Ziobro at a press conference.

- When these opinions were unfavorable to him in many cases, he decided to openly violate existing legislation and simply do as he pleased. This is, after all, like battering laws with a crowbar, and also the principles of the Constitution, which states that authority and public administration bodies can only act within the limits and on the basis of the law. This is a criminal act, not just an unlawful one. We are dealing here with a blatant, and certainly not the first, crime, - he continued.

- Today, we are dealing - these are strong words, and I say this as a former Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General - with the actions of a mafia state that has little in common with a civilized legal order or with the rules of the game that a democratic state ruled by law should adhere to, - said the former minister.
