- Listen, within 10 years, we will be spending trillions of zlotys on Polish energy. And this is our money. That is, the money of the Polish taxpayer, Polish companies, the Polish budget, and I see no reason – in fact, I see every reason – for this money to remain, wherever possible, in Poland, with Polish companies - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the "Energy from Poland - Local First" Forum.

- It cannot be, as it has been for years, not only in Poland, that those who invest public money in ventures such as offshore wind farms, a nuclear power plant, or arms purchases, do not take into account this patriotic dimension – not to revel in the word itself, but because that is also what constitutes national business and national interest - he continued.

- It would be utter foolishness if, when making decisions concerning such a scale – with public procurement alone set to reach 580 billion zlotys in 2024, funds belonging to Poles and spent in this investment process on company operations and activities – we did not ensure that these monies, to the maximum extent possible, went to Polish companies. We must do everything, and there is no exaggeration in this, to make that happen - added the head of government.
