- The question is what to do at a time when the union is planning very far-reaching changes, including new treaties – this is already an ongoing, one might say, advanced process. At the same time, we are experiencing many different kinds of, one might put it quite mildly, ailments connected with our membership in the union - Jarosław Kaczyński said in Krakow.

- These ailments are by no means such that they should lead us to the conclusion that we should not be in the union; that is not what this is about. Although I know there are those who advocate for it, I believe they do not realize what the consequences of such a move would be for us right now in various fields - he continued.

- But that doesn't mean we should say, 'well, nothing can be done' - he added.
