"The scale of this aid, which the state provided – Prime Minister Donald Tusk's government – amounts to over 8 billion zlotys, which went to flood-affected areas through nearly 30 support instruments, concerning the funds we launched," said Marcin Kierwiński at a press conference.

As the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration emphasized: "Never before in the history of natural disasters in Poland – and floods have occurred several times, even in those areas – has this aid been so extensive, so comprehensive, and so broad. Never before has it covered so many areas of activity: including support for individual residents, assistance for educational institutions, infrastructural support, and aid for local governments."
