Unfortunately, after the Alaska summit, instead of a ceasefire, we witnessed an intensification of Russian attacks on Ukraine, and what happened in Polish airspace last night is a spillover of this intensified offensive against Ukraine – said Radosław Sikorski at a press conference, when asked about his expectations from US allies.

– Since then, we also had a meeting of these authoritarian powers in Beijing, and we had a visit from Polish President Karol Nawrocki. Therefore, I expect that President Trump will want to demonstrate to Poland and all our authorities that what he said about Poland's security will be backed by actions – he continued.
