– The established Institute of War Losses was also supposed to prepare a report regarding losses incurred by Poland as a result of the aggression of the Soviet Union [...]. What happened to this institution after December 2023? In essence, it's gone, it's paralyzed, it doesn't exist – said Rafał Leśkiewicz on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń."

– Therefore, we do not possess any document that could form the basis for approaching the authorities of the Russian Federation to obtain reparations. We do not possess a document like the one prepared by MP Mularczyk's team – he stated.

– Undoubtedly, this issue will also need to be raised. We are already doing many things – replacing the government in foreign policy, amending laws on behalf of the government. Certainly, the time will also come to prepare such a document. Perhaps this is precisely the moment for a document to be created in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland that will be a bill presented to the authorities of the Russian Federation – he indicated.
