– The fury of the December 13th Coalition politicians following my statement regarding the government's complete lack of action on anti-drone security demonstrates the scale of the problem. The current team at the Ministry of National Defense (MON) has not only failed to strengthen our air defense but has further weakened it by withdrawing the SkyControl system from the border – Mariusz Błaszczak wrote on social media.

– We need real and effective actions. Our state-owned defense industry should, as quickly as possible, launch the production of low-cost and easy-to-operate unmanned and anti-drone systems – following the example of what Ukraine has done. We should massively acquire such systems, yet the current leadership of the MON spends tens of thousands of zlotys on a single training drone, while Ukrainians buy combat drones for just a few thousand zlotys – emphasized the head of the PiS parliamentary club.

– The only thing the current team at the MON has done is establish a drone forces command with the brother of the former Minister of Justice at its helm. This will not increase our security – he said.
