– The number one task for the government, and for people, institutions, and companies cooperating with us in this area, is primarily to maximize Poland's participation in all projects. Poland will no longer be a big piggy bank solely for foreign companies and allied states when it comes to spending money on armaments, defense, and broadly understood infrastructure serving state security. Our most important task today is to strengthen Poland's autonomous, sovereign production capabilities, and consequently, maximum self-reliance in terms of the country's defense capacity – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press conference during the 33rd International Defence Industry Exhibition.
