– I once again confirmed to the President [Karol Nawrocki] before his departure to Washington that the government's recommendations, prepared for the President's visit, remain in effect. Minister Sikorski informed [him] what the priorities are from the perspective of Polish interests and what we are counting on. I sincerely keep my fingers crossed for the effectiveness of these relations, and of course, Poland's security in various aspects is absolutely crucial here – stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a government session.

– I don't think, I don't want to impose any agenda that is unfeasible in any way. It would certainly be good if, for example, issues of tariffs did not ultimately prove detrimental to Poland, but I am not sure if this will be the agenda of the presidents' meeting. One thing is certain, President Nawrocki knows exactly from us what Poland would expect from this visit – he continued.
