– We call on the Speaker of the Sejm to ensure that this bill [concerning energy prices] is discussed at the session starting as early as next week. The PiS parliamentary club's bill concerning the energy shield is also pending in the Sejm. It is indeed more comprehensive, as it also addresses freezing energy prices for public utility institutions, including local governments, to prevent an increase in prices and household living costs – stated Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.

– There are two bills, and the PiS parliamentary club is fully prepared to work on them, and it is in the interest of Poland and Poles that the energy shield be adopted – continued the head of the PiS club.
